Visited in October 2024. This was our first Michelin Starred restaurant experience! Overall, great experience, and good service. Our menu was ‘Radiant Radicchios Under a Frost Moon’ , so we were in for a unique treat there. Greeted promptly upon entering and seated per our reservation. They knew about our food preferences going in and was easy to accommodate. Besides the tasting, we did add the arctic sourdough (which was pleasant), and drinks. My cocktail was enjoyable and my wife’s wine pairings were on point. There was a small mixup on the wine and the server apologized and upgraded the rest of the wine pairings at no additional cost. Solid presentation of food that you need to have an open mind for, yet tasty. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Overall, we had a lovely experience at Burdock and Co! I received a gift card here and was eager to try out this Michelin star spot. We had the citrus moon menu, which highlighted local citrus from salt spring island. Every dish was very thoughtful and meticulous in design and presentation. I appreciated that the tasting menu is very veggie forward, local, and seasonal. Few Michelin star restaurants are as accommodating as Burdock and Co. The menu was already naturally mostly gluten free and they helped modify a dish for me to avoid raw food because I am pregnant. Highlights of this menu for us were the potato dish, scallop confit, and the dessert. I highly recommend the arctic sourdough and profiterole add- on- two of my favorite bites. Service was kind, warm, and accommodating. It is a hefty price, but a very special experience.

We were very excited to visit our first Michelin Star and believe me, the hype is real and you’re getting an incredible experience. The service was top tier, the food was superb, inspired, fresh and an adventure through flavor country. Wine and cocktails were lovely as well. You will pay for what you’re getting but I assure you, it’s worth every nickel. I don’t want to spoil anything here, but hands down the best meal I’ve had in this country.

Id love to return here and see what new dishes they come up with each season. Each plate is gorgeously composed - always very pleasing to the taste buds too, of course. A very memorable dining experience.

Very impressed by the food and service but the wine pairings totally blew my mind. The food was creative, balanced and delicious. The service was impeccable, with Maisie guiding me through each course, throwing fun facts and info about the food. The wine pairing (basic) was an 11/10. Each wine matched the dish perfectly, elevating it in ways I couldn't imagine. I also recommend the caviar add-on for the potato dish.

Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious. The place was a little small, but there was enough seating space to get some privacy, which we greatly appreciated. The service was excellent. The staff were very knowledgeable and explained each course in detail. Hands down, the parsnip root is one of the most unique and best desserts I have ever had. The sunchoke was also exquisite. The only criticism that comes to my mind would be that it’s a bit pricey for the experience served, especially when compared to other local Michelin-starred restaurants . For being such a vegetable-forward menu, the price just seemed a tad high. But definitely, if you are in town, check this place out. They offer a unique take on food which leaves you craving more!

With the Flower Menu coming back soon, it reminds me of the time I visited with my daughter. It was the most perfect evening we’ve ever shared. The warm, cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and I'm grateful to the staffs for their thoughtful and kind service. Every plating was so artistic, it felt almost too beautiful to eat. It was my first time experiencing dishes made with flowers. The gentle floral aroma throughout the meal made it a truly joyful experience. It was such a special and satisfying evening. I hope my daughter will take me again someday!
